USE OF WEBSITE

1. All of the content of this website (which includes without limitation all, text, images, photographs, illustrations, as well as the design) is protected by copyright and/or trademark and/or other intellectual property rights, and it is owned by "Mr. Plato single member P.C.", (henceforth referred to as MR. PLATO ), which has its registered offices in Athens (89, Patission Str., 104 34, GREEGE) has created the www.misterplato.com website for Customers who wish to perform their transactions electronically and benefit from the offers provided by the online transaction portal.
2. Customers acknowledge and agree that MR. PLATO is expressly authorized to take photographs of them during the tours and use such photographs for the purpose of advertising MR. PLATO, including but not limited to being displayed on MR. PLATO’s website. Photographs remain copyright to MR. PLATO and may only be used or reproduced by Customer for private or domestic purposes and must not be used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or any supplier’s products or services, without MR. PLATO’s written permission.

THE AGREEMENT

All persons wishing to make a booking have carefully read and understood the Terms and Conditions that follow. By making a booking with MR. PLATO, you accept on behalf of yourself and all those named on the booking (including minors) to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please kindly take into account that a) a booking is accepted and becomes definite (i.e. the agreement between the Customer and MR. PLATO has been concluded) only from the date when MR. PLATO sends a confirmation email and b) before your booking is confirmed and the contract is considered valid, MR. PLATO reserves the right to increase or decrease the prices.
Customers are kindly requested to check IMMEDIATELY the accuracy of the details of the aforementioned email (name, departure date, destination, etc.) and to inform MR. PLATO about the errors or discrepancies that may occur.
These Terms and Conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between our Company and the Customer relating to the subject matter herein, and shall constitute a binding agreement.
There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, prior agreement, or description of services, other than as expressed herein.

OUR SERVICES

Α. MR. PLATO offers to its Customers the following services: 1. Walking tours within the center of Athens, to archaeological sites, tourist attractions and museums. Customers may either select any of the daily tours or request a special (private) tour. 2. Tours in areas outside Athens (Sounio, Delphi, Argolida): a.-by bus or taxi cab or minivan, accompanied by a tour guide b.-by Bus or taxi cab or minivan with a local tour guide in each area c.-with a local tour guide only in each area, with Customers being responsible for their own transportation. 3. Organization of a comprehensive tour for Customers which includes: a. transportation by minivan or bus or taxi cab b. tours at archaeological sites and museums c. overnight accommodation at hotels d. meals at restaurants 4. Walking tours in the center of Athens with food as a theme, during which Customers will be able to taste different foods at the specialty shops visited. Β. We want to clarify that MR. PLATO does not render the above services by itself; it simply mediates in the booking of these services, which are offered by the organizers/providers of each service as mentioned on the website. Related to the above services, MR. PLATO’s responsibility is limited only to the fulfillment of the mediation service. MR. PLATO does not make travel arrangements. The provider is solely and exclusively responsible for fulfilling the contracts concluded via MR. PLATO.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

MR. PLATO’s fee is referred to in detail for all types of services offered on its webpage at www.misterplato.com. The method of payment is described in detail for each of the services offered on the www.misterplato.com webpage.
Only the payment methods stated on the webpage shall be accepted. It should be noted that most types of credit cards are accepted.
MR. PLATO may invite a customer to electronically send credentials proving residential address or a copy of the credit card.

MR. PLATO must confirm acceptance of the Customer’s booking in writing. The Customer credit card details are necessary to hold the booking, the credit card needs to be valid. In case of expatriation of the card before the date of the service, the Customer needs to contact MR. PLATO with a new valid card.

CANCELLATION (OR CHANGE) OF A TOUR BY THE CUSTOMER – REFUND POLICY

Any cancellation by a Customer must be made in writing and be acknowledged by MR. PLATO in writing. The date on which the request to cancel is received by MR. PLATO or its agents will determine the cancellation fees applicable.
The Customer gets full refund in case he cancels the tour 96 hours before the start time. He is refunded 50% of the amount in case he cancels the tour between 96 hours and 48 hours before the start time. If the tour is canceled less than 48 hours before the time it begins, we don't offer any refund.
NOTE: Refunds take place max one month after the cancellation date and 3% commission is kept for credit card refunds if the Customer cancels the tour. If the tour is cancelled by MR. PLATO, no commission is kept and the Customer is entitled to a full refund.
MR. PLATO reserves the right to reject orders for a booking made by a Customer, if the latter has violated the terms of use of the website. Customers are obliged to comply with Greek legislation pertaining to passports, the issuance of visas, health regulations, etc. Customers may contact MR. PLATO at any time to request any relevant information.
NOTE: If a Customer wants to change (not cancel) his booking in any way, he is obliged to inform MR. PLATO in writing (email) as soon as possible. Our Company will try to help him, although we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to do this as changes are subject to availability at the time. In case we can make a change, we will charge for any additional services, facilities, or other items changed, at the price which applies on the day the change is made.
Customers are obliged to comply with Greek legislation pertaining to passports, the issuance of visas, health regulations, etc.
CUSTOMERS MAY CONTACT MR. PLATO AT ANY TIME TO REQUEST ANY RELEVANT INFORMATION.

COMPLAINTS

If a Customer has a complaint against MR. PLATO, the Customer must first inform the company at the earliest opportunity to allow the grievance to be rectified before any public display of the matter.

INSURANCE

There is no travel insurance in the price of the ticket. MR. PLATO does not take any responsibility for any injuries or loss incurred whilst Customer participates in our tours. We strongly recommend to our Customers to take out comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability before they travel. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your tour with MR. PLATO.

DISCLAIMER

MR. PLATO shall not be held liable to Customers for information and details that are related to services and products offered by each provider. MR. PLATO shall make all efforts possible to check the information published on its website for errors or inaccuracies. However, MR. PLATO does not guarantee the adequacy, accuracy, completeness or current validity of this information.
In no case whatsoever shall MR. PLATO be responsible for actions, errors, omissions, warranties, breaches or denials of any provider, nor for any injury, death, destruction of property or any other losses or compensation or pecuniary satisfaction and expenses that may arise for any reason that is related to the operation and use of the website and of the information, of products and services offered by any provider or from any unauthorized interventions by third parties in the products, services or information that are made available on this website. MR. PLATO shall not be liable and shall not indemnify any person against strikes, force majeure or any other reason that is not under its direct control.
Furthermore, MR. PLATO shall not be held liable to pay compensation for any additional expense, omission, and delay, change of route, or action or omission by any State authority.
MR. PLATO reserves the right to modify the website at any given time.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

The use of this website must be made exclusively for lawful purposes. Customers shall be obliged to use the website in accordance with the law, the principles and the current terms herein and they shall not perform actions or omissions that may harm or cause the website’s malfunction, nor affect or endanger the provision of MR. PLATO’s services.
By using this website, Customers guarantee that they are at least 18 years of age and that they comply with the lawful conditions for use of this website. In addition, they shall guarantee the accuracy and completeness of all information and details pertaining to the person or to members of their families, which are disclosed within the scope of this website’s use.

GOVERNING LAW

Those who choose to access this website do so at their own risk and on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all applicable Greek laws. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Greek Laws. Any kind of dispute under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens (subject to appeal) and, by using this website, you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such Courts for such purposes and waive any and all objections as to jurisdiction or venue in such Courts.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of force majeure, MR. PLATO is entitled, at its own choice, to suspend implementation of Customer’s order or to dissolve the agreement without legal intervention, by informing about this the Customer in writing and without MR. PLATO being held liable to any damage compensation. Force majeure is deemed to mean any shortcoming which cannot be attributed to MR. PLATO because it cannot be blamed on it nor deemed to be its responsibility in accordance with the law, legal action or generally accepted views.
